Every thought has energy.
Have you ever had a negative thought about something, and then that negative feeling attached to it just kept going and going?
When you have a negative thought, it's not just that the idea exists—it's that the energy behind it is still present in your body. As a result, you can be stuck in negative thought patterns for hours or even days if you're not careful.
You might not realize it, but the thoughts swirling around in your mind create a vibration of energy that affects everything around you.
That's why it's so important to be aware of what we're thinking about at all times. Then, when we know our thoughts are affecting us negatively, we can change them before they start affecting our lives.
Every word has energy
Did you know that our words have power?
They can be used to heal and create or hurt and destroy. They can build up or tear down; they can inspire and discourage.
It's essential to use your words carefully because their energy matters.
When you speak to others, think about what you are saying. Are you saying something that they need to hear? Are you speaking words of encouragement and support? Are you helping them reach their goals? If not, it's time to change how you communicate with them.
When speaking to yourself, it is also essential to choose your words wisely. Are your thoughts positive? Do they encourage growth, or do they discourage it? Are they helpful or harmful? How we talk to ourselves affects us in many ways, so ensure your inner dialogue is encouraging!
Every action has energy
Whether it's a physical action, like getting up from your chair and walking over to the fridge for a snack, or a mental one, like deciding to quit your job because you're tired of being treated poorly by your boss, every action has energy.
For example, imagine you're in the middle of a meeting at work and suddenly realize that you've been sitting in the same position for the past hour. You may not even know how much energy you've been expending—but your body is! And after an hour of sitting still, it will start to signal that it's time to move around.
The same applies when dealing with our emotions: every emotion we feel has its own energy—and if we don't pay attention to those feelings and learn their messages (by paying attention to them), they'll push us into action until they get their way.
All these things affect how you live your life
When you think of energy, what do you picture?
Maybe a glowing ball of light or a charging lightning bolt. Although we can't see it with our eyes, there is an energy around us all the time that affects our lives in many different ways. Our thoughts and emotions affect this energy, and it affects us, too.
This invisible force can be used for good or bad—it's up to each person to decide how they want to use their own personal power (or 'chi').
Energy affects how we show up and how others perceive us. Through my own journey, I realized that our thoughts, words, and actions are loaded with the power to help or hurt others. This was a significant turning point in my life and one of the biggest reasons I became passionate about helping people.
Our energy creates our reality and experience of life and is linked to all aspects of our health.
